Located 12 miles west of downtown Chicago and covering 1.9 square miles, Elmwood Park was incorporated in 1914. Its current population is approximately 25,000.

- Giant Radio Flyer Wagon - is in the lawn in front of the company's headquarters. At 27' long and 13' wide, this is the World's Largest Wagon. The wheels are 8' in diameter. This wagon was created in 1997. It was inspired by the 45' tall model that was produced for the 1933 World's Fair. Radio Flyer has been producing wagons since 1917.
- The Water Park - offers a zero depth edge, a Children's Water Play area containing bubbling geysers, and a mushroom shower. The Water Park also features a water slide, a large area for tanning, and a full service concession stand.
